A dark comedy horror film where unsuspecting people venture onto a crazed farmer’s land. Andy Serkis, Heather Ellison.
Leave it up to the British to satirize horror movies in a way that doesn’t involve David Cross and the ‘Scary Movie’ franchise. Let me get on my soapbox for a second. Alright, I’m on my soapbox. Corporate America has taken over the film industry and if we don’t do something about it, revolutionary films like the ones created in the late 60’s and early 70’s will never get their share and The Rock will then be able to buy body armor made of jewels with his multi-million dollar contracts. Granted, this isn’t the movie that I think will take us into the new millennium, since it doesn’t look that good, but British people have been doing something great for a while now: ‘The Office,’ ‘Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace,’ Posh Spice, etc. I guess they can’t take themselves too seriously, otherwise we’ll bomb them. Hooray Capitalism!
