Happy New Year. We hope you made it home safe from your celebratory celebrations and there are forever puke stains on your shiny new tux and/or dress you’ll never fit in again. It’s hard to find a good movie that encapsulates the ‘new year’ but this scene in ‘The Apartment’ does it rather well. It stars Jack Lemmon, a weird looking Shirley MacLaine, and the dad from ‘My Three Sons.’ Billy Wilder directed it too. Rent it. Or buy it. Its better than most of the crap out there today. I’m 90.
